Salary: $14.40 per hour up to 26 hours per week
Duties:
  • Reports to the Director of Academic Support Services
  • Carries out the library circulation desk functions such as patron registration, inter-library loan, shelving, holds and managing reserves
  • Assists students and staff with locating print materials, utilizing electronic library resources and online research databases, navigating online courses, using web-based course resources and computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Google Drive, and using copiers, scanners and printers
  • Answers telephones, record statistics, enter data into spreadsheets or databases, assist with scheduling tutor appointments
Minimum Requirements:

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED

Associate’s degree preferred

Experience working in a library, school or other learning environment is helpful

Excellent communication skills

Bilingual is a plus

Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds, and spend considerable time standing and walking

 

Terms of Employment:

The position requires flexible scheduling and may include evenings and weekends at any Atlantic Cape location.
